Jerome was the last concentration camp for Japanese Americans to open and the first to close; upon its closing, detainees were transported to nearby Rohwer and camps in other states. This Kodachrome film was shot by an unknown cameraperson and found on eBay. Includes shots of camp civilian and military staff, camp buildings, Japanese Americans incarcerated in the camp, a high-school graduation, young people reading the camp newspaper, and incarcerees being transported on trucks and railroad trains for movement to Rohwer and other camps. This film was possibly shot by Charles R. Lynn, reports officer at Jerome, who had been a reporter for the Arkansas Gazette.
